Wine Cup - Black & White Sgraffito - Multiple Designs - Lines
Measures about 3 1/4 - 3 1/2 inches tall x 2 1/2 inches wide, holds just about 6oz
These little cups are usually used for wine in our house, but they also have a fair amount of play as bud vases, or for a little water or juice.
Currently 8 little cups are available (4 with arch designs and 4 with line designs) and while similar in size (see the last 2 images) they are a little different. Each has been wheel thrown from porcelain and the slightly uneven rim is reflected in the sgraffito design. While the clay is still damp the surface is brushed with black underglaze, then the lines are scratched through.
Finished with a smooth glossy glaze these cups are food safe and safe for use in the microwave and dishwasher.
