Honey Jar with Bridge and Reflection
Honey jar is 4 1/4 inches tall X 3 inches wide, with the lid it is 6 1/2 inches tall
Dress up your honey with this cute white & black honey jar! The wheel thrown porcelain features a fitted dome lid with a notch for the honey dipper.
The smooth porcelain surface has been decorated using a sgraffito technique - black underglaze was applied over the damp clay and lines were scratched through the black to reveal the white clay below. In this case - arches that were inspired by a bridge and watery reflection.
Glazed with a smooth glossy glaze this jar is food safe and safe for use in the microwave and also dishwasher, although we always recommend extra care with handmade items.
