There’s a crab sneaking up on a bird on this mug… it’s perfect for making up a story while drinking coffee or tea.

Wheel thrown with hand sculpted stoneware elements, no two mugs are ever alike.

The dark clay has been drawn into and sculpted off of, the crab is has been stained orange red with bright white eyes, the bird is watching some bugs fly by and is stained white with an orange beak and legs. The outside of the mug is unglazed and has a nice texture, not too rough, just a little sandy. The inside has been glazed with a smooth glossy glaze, under the ivory/tan there are flecks of blue, brown, and violet.
