Coffee Pour Over (All the tools)
Coffee Pour Over (All the tools)
My day starts with that one perfect cup of coffee... although sometimes I have another in the afternoon, either way the coffee pour over is a perfect way to brew your coffee one cup at a time and exactly how strong you like it!
Wheel thrown from porcelain, the pour over features drawings of awkward tools, just waiting to help you with a project. The drawings are made using an underglaze pencil and then the outside has been finished with a washy grey and pink glaze, the inside white.
***This pourover fits on a mug that is 2 1/2 - 4 inches wide at the rim***
Great for apartments, small kitchens and even camping! Just line the pour over with a #2 cone filter, rest it over your favorite coffee mug, add ground coffee (about 2 Tablespoons per 6oz water), slowly pour in a little water that has just come off the boil. Let it sit for a few counts to absorb the water and begin to "bloom." Then pour in as much water as you need, allowing it to drain before adding more and filling your mug.
The base of the pour over has 3 holes; helping the coffee drain, the base also has a trimmed ring just around the holes and also at the edge. This provides a fitted area that can rest on the rim of a mug that is 2 1/2 - 4 inches wide.
This listing is for the pourover only, but one photograph shows it sitting on a mug in the shop
This pourover is slightly oval, I pressed in the sides while it was still wet on the wheel, so it fits the cone filter a little better.
Perfect for a #2 filter, the pour over measures 3 inches tall x 6 wide at the handle, the base is 4 3/4 inches wide
