Each session Jenny will address specific aspects of clay usage including; using tools, advanced hand building, troubleshooting your throwing, and discussing design and form. Take one class or all, the sessions are non-sequential. The aim of this class is to make you better at working with clay.

Your class fee provides firing, glazing and open studio in the duration for the class. Additional clay $10 to $18 per bag.

April 11: Spiral and Ram’s Head Wedging, Centering, Cylinders

April 18: Cylinder workshop (getting the cup form efficient)

April 25: Put a handle on mugs and pitchers

May 2: Trimming - bowls and cylinders

May 9: Plates & Wide Bowls

May 16: Sgraffito - carving in color

May 23: Paddle, facet & small alterations - with wheel thrown ware
