5-week class. Beyond beginner.

Learn how to safely make, test and fire ceramic glazes in this class. Lectures and demonstrations will include studio safety, proper documentation, units of measurement, glaze starting points, what the major chemical groups do what and in what kiln atmosphere, using the gram scale, and firing your tests in the electric or gas kiln without making the lab tech mad at you. This class will also include a soda firing during the 5th week of the class!

Your class fee provides one bag of clay, misc supplies, firing and glazing. Additional clay $10 to $18 per bag.
